Arch Enemy Drops "Paper Tiger" Music Video and Reveals Blood Dynasty Tour Dates
The Swedish metal titans gear up for their North American tour with Fit For An Autopsy, Baest, and Thrown Into Exile—dates and details revealed.
- Arch Enemy drops ‘Paper Tiger’—the fourth and final single before Blood Dynasty drops on March 28. The track gallops with a Judas Priest-esque energy, filmed on a German airfield because, sure, why not.
- A limited edition ’liquid blood vinyl’ is available—only 666 copies exist. If you haven’t preordered yet… LOL, good luck competing with collectors who refresh faster than you.
- North America is about to get obliterated—tour kicks off April 14, with Fit For An Autopsy, Baest, and Thrown Into Exile in tow. Some dates are missing bands, so check before you show up crying in the parking lot.
Ok SO listen—Arch Enemy decided that the world needed to be LOUDER, and who are we to argue??? They dropped “Paper Tiger” and I swear to Odin’s beard it’s got that Judas Priest but also Arch Enemy but also maybe a bit of an angry chainsaw vibe. And if you were thinking “wow, I could use another song to scream in my car like I’m in a Fast & Furious movie,” CONGRATS THIS IS IT.
So what’s the deal? This is the fourth and final single from their upcoming album, BLOOD DYNASTY—which, by the way, sounds like a Metal Soap Opera™ that would air on a network where everyone has a sword. The album drops March 28, 2025, via Century Media Records and yes you can preorder it right now like the responsible little metalhead you are.

Michael Amott Is Having The Time Of His Life
The man, the myth, the riff lord himself—Michael Amott—decided to share his feelings on “Paper Tiger,” and surprise surprise his feelings are mostly about R I F F S.
“With Blood Dynasty almost here we thought we’d sneak in another single for you ‘Paper Tiger’ is a personal favorite these riffs are so much fun to play The accompanying video was shot on a German airfield last summer with our visionary friend Mumpi Turn it up and let it roar”
MICHAEL. BUDDY. You just casually dropped German airfield into the conversation like we weren’t gonna have questions. Why an airfield? Were there planes? Were the planes metal??? Also—“turn it up and let it roar” is basically a legal obligation now so if you don’t blast this at full volume you are… breaking METAL LAW.

The Vibes? Absolute Chaos. Good.
This song is fast, it shreds, it might be illegal in certain countries. It’s got a galloping energy—like if you threw a knight on a warhorse into a mosh pit. People are saying it’s kinda Judas Priest-esque and yeah, I get that, but it’s also just PURE UNHINGED ARCH ENEMY ENERGY.
Amott keeps teasing that Blood Dynasty is gonna “push boundaries,” which in Metal Terms™ means “we turned everything up to 11 and made it so fast you might get whiplash.”
“This new album pushes the boundaries of what we’ve done before It’s everything you’ve come to expect from this band and then some”
So basically they just Thanos-snapped their own sound and made it MORE. Which. Yeah. I’m here for it.

The Lineup Shake-up, Wait Jeff Loomis Left??
Jeff Loomis dipped in December 2023 (amicably, allegedly, though I choose to believe there was at least ONE dramatic movie-style stare-down) and now Joey Concepcion is in. He made his live debut in Seoul in 2024 and now? He’s gotta help rip these tracks apart live. No pressure dude.
- Alissa White-Gluz – Vocals (can still scream better than your nightmares)
- Michael Amott – Guitar (literally still cranking out riffs in his sleep)
- Joey Concepcion – Guitar (new guy hope he brought a helmet)
- Sharlee D’Angelo – Bass (holding everything together like duct tape but METAL)
- Daniel Erlandsson – Drums (probably breaking at least three sticks per show)
