The Gist

Korn and Adidas have once again teamed up, this time with a new Superstar shoe drop. It’s about as surprising as the sun rising—anyone who’s been around long enough knows this collab was practically written in the stars. The pair have already released two collections, but this one? It’s leaning hard into nostalgia, taking us straight back to 1994, when Korn’s self-titled debut was fresh off the presses.

Enter the Korn x Adidas Superstar—a shoe that pays tribute to the iconic black-and-white kicks Jonathan Davis sported in the “Blind” music video. If you were hoping for subtlety, look elsewhere. Adidas and Korn didn’t hold back in recreating those kicks, even throwing in the red and black tracksuit from the video for the apparel side of things.

These Superstars come with all the old-school touches: a black leather upper, the classic Shell-Toes, and mismatched striping for a bit of flair. The left shoe’s got “Est. 1994” emblazoned in bold red on the side, matching the inner tongue’s color. The right one, though? Alternating logos from both Korn and Adidas, just to make sure you know exactly what’s up.

They even went as far as to swap out the usual Superstar font for Korn’s spiky, rebellious lettering. Not to mention the insoles, which feature album art from that infamous debut. And, because why not, they’ve thrown in a Korn guitar pick with every pair.

But it’s not just the shoes getting attention. There’s a whole collection of gear to match. Expect a T-shirt with the same album art, a purple plaid tracksuit (seriously, purple plaid), a hoodie, a flannel shirt, and for those who love utility with a dash of edge, a tote bag.

This collection drops sometime in October, and as for the price? Let’s just say you’ll be shelling out 40 for these bad boys. Expensive? Sure. But let’s face it, these things are cool. And if you’re a long-time fan, it might just be worth it.
