Korn Kicks Off 2024 Tour with a Nostalgic Setlist in Tampa
Rare tracks from Issues and Korn III make an appearance, marking their first live performances in years.
- Korn kicked off their North American tour in Tampa, reviving deep cuts like “Hey Daddy” (first time since 1999).
- Tracks like “Dead Bodies Everywhere” and “Oildale” were brought back, the latter featuring Brian “Head” Welch live for the first time.
- The band mixed old classics with newer material, keeping both longtime fans and newcomers satisfied.
Korn’s North American tour kicked off last night, and for those of us who’ve been around long enough to remember them actually playing these songs when they first dropped, it was a bit of a nostalgia trip—whether we asked for it or not. With everyone and their grandmother out here doing anniversary tours and digging up deep cuts, Korn decided to jump on that bandwagon too. And hey, it wasn’t half bad.
The lucky folks at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa got to hear “Hey Daddy” live for the first time since 1999. Yes, you read that right—1999. That’s two decades of dormancy for a track off the Issues album.

Add to that “Dead Bodies Everywhere” from Follow the Leader, dusted off for the first time since 2019, and Korn III’s “Oildale (Leave Me Alone)” making a rare appearance. The kicker? This was the first time Brian “Head” Welch played it live, considering he wasn’t even in the band when they first recorded it. Ah, the joys of lineup changes.
Thanks to the sleuths over at Setlist.fm, we’ve got the whole tracklist from the night, and honestly, it’s a mixed bag of old school and new(ish). Here’s what they threw down:
- Here to Stay
- Dead Bodies Everywhere (First time live since 2019)
- Got the Life
- Hey Daddy (First time live since 1999)
- A.D.I.D.A.S.
- Start the Healing
- Blind
- Ball Tongue
- Clown
- Shoots and Ladders (with a snippet of Metallica’s “One”)
- Twist
- Make Me Bad
- Insane
- Oildale (Leave Me Alone) (First time since 2012, first time with Head on guitar)
- Y’All Want a Single
- Falling Away From Me
- Good God
- Freak on a Leash
Seeing them mix these old gems with some of their newer material shows the band still knows how to feed both the OG fans and the newcomers. Sure, the rawness might have softened a bit over the years, but tracks like “Hey Daddy” and “Dead Bodies Everywhere” can still give you a little punch in the nostalgia gut—if that’s your thing.
