Los Angeles had an unexpected guest at Metallica’s August 25 concert—an adventurous dog named Storm who, without a ticket or invitation, managed to sneak into SoFi Stadium and settle right in with the crowd. If there’s ever been a real-life “puppy love for metal,” this four-legged fan certainly captured it.

Storm—undoubtedly a dog with a taste for heavy riffs—apparently pulled a jailbreak, escaping from her home and finding her way into the stadium, blending in remarkably well among the leather-clad crowd.

Metallica couldn’t resist sharing the news, and the band’s social media post captured the whole affair with a dose of heavy-metal humor. They posted a snapshot of Storm relaxing in the stands and added:

“You might’ve heard we had a four-legged fan at #M72LA! Contrary to rumors, our new friend Storm wasn’t a planned guest—she snuck out of her home near SoFi Stadium and found her way to the show on her own.

“After rocking out through a full set with her #MetallicaFamily, Storm reunited with her actual family the next day. She seemed to love songs like ‘Barx Æterna,’ ‘Master of Puppies,’ and ‘The Mailman That Never Comes.’

“And before anyone gets ideas, we don’t recommend bringing your furry friends to the #M72 World Tour. But this lucky pup sure had her moment in the spotlight.”

It’s safe to say that Storm may have found her calling, leaving metalheads everywhere a little jealous of her legendary experience.
